The NOADA member dealer spotlight is our recurring feature on the franchised dealers who make up the Northeast Ohio Automobile Dealers Association - the families, managers, and teams behind the showrooms across Akron, Summit County, and the wider region. Behind every rooftop is a multi-generation business, a payroll that supports local families, and a track record of coaching little-league teams and underwriting community causes. This series tells those stories in plain language, one member at a time.

It’s also a deliberately link-worthy, search-friendly corner of our newsroom: each spotlight is an indexable page that helps a buyer discover a trusted local dealer and connects directly to our Find a Dealer directory.

Why we spotlight our members

Local franchised dealers are easy to take for granted and easy to caricature. The reality is more interesting - and more positive. Most NOADA members are decades-old, family-run businesses that have weathered recessions, supply shocks, and the move to digital retail while staying rooted in the same community. Spotlighting them does three things at once:

• It builds consumer trust. A buyer choosing where to spend tens of thousands of dollars wants to know who they’re dealing with. Real stories about real owners and staff do what a banner ad can’t.
• It recognizes our members. Membership is a two-way street; visibility is part of the value of belonging.
• It strengthens the local search footprint. Genuine, well-structured stories about Northeast Ohio dealerships earn links and rank for local-intent searches that statewide and out-of-market sites can’t own.

How members get featured

We rotate spotlights so the series reflects the breadth of our membership - different brands, towns, sizes, and stories. Members can also raise their hand.

1. Tell us your story. A member who has a milestone, a new facility, a community initiative, or a standout team member can nominate themselves.
2. We gather the details. A short conversation and a few photos are usually all it takes.
3. We draft and review. You see the feature before it publishes - accuracy and tone matter to us as much as to you.
4. It goes live and gets promoted. The spotlight publishes here, links to your Find a Dealer page, and is shared through our newsletter and video and podcast hub where it fits.
