Hosted by the Northeast Ohio Automobile Dealers Association, serving local dealers since 1927, the outing brings together dealer principals, managers, endorsed partners, and vendors for an afternoon that’s equal parts networking and tradition - while supporting NOADA’s community and workforce mission. A Northeast Ohio dealer tradition
For years the outing has been a fixture of the warm-weather season, drawing a full field of players from across the membership for a comfortable, well-run day at a respected Northeast Ohio course. The host course is announced each year.
What makes it work isn’t the scorecard - it’s the room. A dealership town like ours runs on relationships: between competing rooftops who respect each other, between dealers and the partners who serve them, and between the people who’ll be doing business together for the next decade. The outing is where those relationships get built and renewed, all in one easygoing afternoon.

What’s typically included
A player registration generally covers your round, a cart, lunch, on-course refreshments, and entry into contests and prizes. The exact inclusions, format, and pricing are confirmed each year.

New to the outing? A few notes
You don’t have to be a scratch golfer to belong at the NOADA outing - this is a networking day first and a tournament second. Many dealer outings run as a scramble, the friendliest format there is: everyone in your group tees off, you pick the best shot, and you all play from there. It keeps pace quick, keeps scores respectable, and keeps conversation flowing - which is the whole point. The format for each year’s outing is confirmed ahead of the event.
A typical day looks like check-in and lunch, a round of golf with refreshments and contests along the way, and an awards-and-prizes wrap-up where the real relationship-building happens. Bring your clubs, a collared shirt, and a few business cards. If you’re a dealer, the colleagues and partners you’ll meet on the course are the same people you’ll call on for the next decade - and there’s no better icebreaker than sharing a cart for an afternoon.
